Hi! We are Kaiya and Trey Potter. I (Kaiya) am the one behind KNP! Trey is my videographer, second photographer, content creator, and biggest supporter. I would not have this business without him!
Why we do what we do
We believe in capturing your wedding day as it happens, not forcing
moments into your day.
We got married in 2023, and that is when I (Kaiya) fell in love with everything weddings. My wedding day went smoothly, but it was still a rush of emotions and excitement, and if I'm being honest, I don't remember much of it. When our gallery was delivered (thank you to Canaan Gammon) we looked through it and re-lived our wedding day. That's why I became a wedding photographer. I want these photos to bring back the memories from your chaotic but exciting day.
I also did NOT hire a videographer, and that is probably my biggest regret. As Trey and I have begun to add video into wedding day packages, I have realized what a special addition that video brings to your wedding day experience.
my philosophy as your wedding photographer
The photos are about your wedding day, your wedding day is not about photos. I want to capture things as they happen naturally. That being said, I am not afraid to step in and give you direction if you feel intimidated by the camera. I want any photo I take to reflect you and your personality, whether it is a senior portrait, family photo, or a wedding gallery.

- I love hiking
- I am obsessed with my wiener dog Phoebe and all wiener dogs
- I would love to live in Europe some day
- My favorite show to play in the background of editing is Gilmore Girls
- My favorite movie of all time is Little Women (2019). It always inspires me creatively
- I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
Trey Potter
Videographer
Here are a few things i LOVE:
- I am passionate about all aspects of making and producing music
- I am a worship leader and young adults pastor at my local church
- I surprised Kaiya with our dog Phoebe when she was away at a wedding
- I am a huge outdoorsman. In my free time, no matter the weather or time of day, I'll be out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting.
